The Co-chairs oversee all personnel and committee operations, preside over quarterly meetings, organize nominations of women surgeons for loco-regional and national awards, organize collaborative events, interface with ACS Clinical Congress and AWS, manage the budget, oversee digital operations, and distribute of resources of interest.

Membership and Outreach Committee
Oversee and manage the membership list, maintain lists and accumulate data regarding ‘promotions’ categories for each women surgeon in the department including UCSF-East Bay surgeons.
Monitor q3-year programming structure, promote events to appropriate audience, invite speakers and arrange venues, catering etc. (with assistance of members of other committees)

Scope of Work
Organize Grand Round series and Mentorship/Leadership/Academia series (working with Programming Committee members); set up one-on-one mentorship for faculty with residents and medical students for professional and personal development.
Maintain website and triage information from outside contacts to the committee, oversee social media, work with Programming Committee members ensure all information and scheduling on website is up to date.
