Biography
Jane (Jaeyun) Wang, M.D. is a general surgery resident with the UCSF Department of Surgery. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University, where she majored in Neurobiology and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. She then attended medical school at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society upon graduation. Her clinical interests are in surgical oncology (with a specific focus on HPB), and her research interests are in artificial intelligence and prediction modeling. She will start her fellowship in surgical oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2026.
